It has been a long time since I have shared with you what has been going on with our family. Ethan is 16, driving, wrestling and playing lacrosse. Charlie is 14, playing volleyball pretty much year round. Oliver is 7 going on 13 and is a wild thing. I have never laughed so hard or cried so hard. I never knew parenting was this hard.
This past summer we took a trip to St George, Utah. It was the most beautiful place we visited. We have always visited the beach and this was a completely different type of beauty. Breathtaking! It is amazing to see how different and beautiful one place can be even if it is smoldering hot. We did get an Airbnb with a pool. Perks of an August trip are it is cheaper!
Bryce
Bryce was my favorite. Just the awestruck beauty of it. I don’t think pictures do it any justice. It is the most magnificent thing in nature I have ever seen. I wish that everyone could see this in person.

Snow Canyon
Snow Canyon was beautiful with the petrified sand and sandstone cliffs. We visited Jenny’s Canyon. I never new there were volcanos in Utah! We were able to sit in them to cool down.

Zion

I didn’t share this was our first hiking experience as a family. It was a good learning experience. We learned Charlie hates hiking. Oliver only wants to play. Ethan loves it. Zion was beautiful too, but we learned real quick that we should not have brought the little guy! I am glad they were able to experience all the beauty, dry heat, and trials that we endured on this trip. I didn’t share that we were able to meet up with a sweet family! Our family rule is to never visit the same place twice, but I would love to go back to St. George.
